REMARKS/EXTRA INFORMATION:

This song was originally “Radhe Radhe Syama Se Milade” which was a typical Gujarati chant. This is sung by Vraja vasis.

However, according to some devotees, this bhajana was not bonafide for us to sing, due to its mood beyond our devotional mood. The translation to it is, “Oh Radhe! Please introduce me to Your beloved Syama.” In effect, this song was asking Srimati Radharani to serve us. This is not considered bonafide amongst certain devotees. However, Vraja vasis could sing this, since Vraja vasis have the highest devotion on this planet. From the Caitanya Vaisnava Sanga (centered in Maui, Hawaii), their rendition of the same song is what I have presented here. Another way is by singing “radhe radhe radhe syam radhe radhe”. By these ways, we are glorifying the Lord without being unbonafide. Hare Krsna!
