1) O brothers! Lord Caitanya, Lord Nityananda, and Their devotees headed by Srivasa Thakura relish different varieties of prasad at the house of Gauridasa Pandita. They ate luci (white flour puris), cini (sugar), sweet rice in condensed milk (khir), a yogurt dessert (sar), sweets (mithai), and sweet rice (payas).
2) Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, in great ecstasy, gave the order to all of His devotees to eat. Becoming very fortunate by taking the prasad of Lord Krsna, everyone chants aloud, "Krsna! Krsna!"
This song is to be sung before partaking sweet (dessert) prasadam.
