His Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, better known as Srila Prabhupada, is the most recent spiritual master of our parampara, or succession of disciples originating from Sri Krsna. Without the mercy of the spiritual master, who is the pure devotee, one cannot approach the Lord. The spiritual master is accepted to be the representative of Sri Krsna, therefore he is to receive the same respect and treatment as the Lord Himself.
