darśin vismita-mātṛka

putanādi-vadhāloki-
mātṛ-śaṇkā-śata-prada
svabhāva-vivdhāścarya-
mayatā-tan-nirāsaka
TRANSLATION
1) O Krsna, You are pleased
by drinking the breast milk of Mother Yasoda, Delighted by seeing Your face,
Mother Yasoda caresses You. O Lord I offer respectful obeisances unto You.
Please protect me.
2) O Krsna, when Your
affectionate mother kissed Your face, You amazed her by showing her the entire
universe. O Lord, O revealer of amazing things. please be merciful unto me.
3) By killing of Putana and
other demons as well as seeing such amazing things, by the nature of Your
mother, she is cast off of motherly anxiety by Your grace.
