This is a Bengali triadic rhythmic cycle used in many bhajans and folk songs. This is very similar to Bengali ektal in many ways. The divisions for the tali and khali are disputed as some singers or instrumentalists sing this as a 2+2+2+2+2+2. In addition, it is symmetrical from the dayan bol perspective.
